Move up to Batalha and visit one of the most beautiful monasteries in portugal "O Mosteiro de Santa Maria da Vitória” ( The Monastery of Santa Maria's Victory ), classified by UNESCO as world heritage and on the Seventh of July 2007 one of the seven wonders of portugal, this majestic monument is the most important exilibris of the region.
This monastery was born from the vow made by D. John I to Santa Maria da Vitória to celebrate the success of the castelhanas troops in battle of Aljubarrota on August 14 of 1385.
Alcobaça
Alcobaça grew around a Arabic castle and then a Christian monastery: between the two, a tangle of streets with ornament aspect of medieval churches such as Misericórdia and Nossa Senhora da Conceição,, reminds us of its ancient history. As the largest church in Portugal, the Mosteiro de Santa Maria de Alcobaça displays a medieval architecture simple and elegant: it was founded in 1178 by the Cistercian Order of the vote done to meet the country's first king, D. Óbidos

Baleal
The Baleal is constituted by 2 beaches, North Beach and South Beach.On the south beach you may take delicious calm baths with the sea relatively calm. Peniche
